Science Advisory Board Recommendations
The following are recommendations of the Scientific Advisory Board to the Air Quality Committee for creation or revision of Acceptable Ambient Levels (AALs) for toxic air pollutants. Those designated "pending" have been presented to the Air Quality Committee and are currently making their way through the rule-making process. Those recommendations designated as "final" have been enacted into the North Carolina Air Quality regulations.
