The North Carolina Division of Air Quality (NCDAQ) conducted a technical emissions benefit analysis and air quality sensitivity study to quantify the differences between the California Low Emission Vehicle II standards (CA LEV-II) and the current Federal Tier 2 standards. In the reports below, the NCDAQ discusses the costs and benefits of reducing oxides of nitrogen, volatile organic compounds, particulate matter, and greenhouse gas emissions through CA LEV-II program.
